Kern Lake (Kern County) : ウィキペディア英語版 | Kern Lake (Kern County)
Kern Lake, originally Laguna de los Tulares,〔(Plan del paraje conocido bajo el nombre de Tejon, From U.S. District Court, California, Land case map D-1366A (Land case S.D. 327 p. 89 in Bancroft Library); José A. Aguirre et al., claimants.Tracing of 1843 ms. map. Relief shown pictorially. Pen-and-ink.4362 E48 )〕 was the smallest of the three large lakes in the Tulare Basin, in the southwestern San Joaquin Valley of California. It was the first of the lakes fed by the Kern River. Kern Lake is now a dry lake bed, due to agricultural diversion of the Kern River waters and the aquifer.〔(George Gilbert Lynch, THE LATE, GREAT, BUENA VISTA LAKE, Historic Kern, Quarterly Bulletin, Volume 59, No. 3, Kern County Historical Society, Bakersfield, Fall - 2009 )〕 ==See also==
